Status: 9 of 10 up.
Unit #2 has still a problem with the DVDROM.
Though i fear that unit #9 has a thermal problem:
$ ./foreach /usr/src/smc -s | grep sensor sensor data: 65.3 C, 61.4 C, 66.9 C, 29.9 C, sensor data: 69.1 C, 63.7 C, 64.2 C, 29.9 C, sensor data: 70.0 C, 59.3 C, 61.1 C, 28.8 C, sensor data: 66.9 C, 62.3 C, 62.5 C, 30.2 C, sensor data: 69.4 C, 63.0 C, 67.0 C, 29.9 C, sensor data: 68.9 C, 62.8 C, 62.6 C, 29.5 C, sensor data: 68.7 C, 62.7 C, 68.7 C, 29.1 C, sensor data: 70.3 C, 64.2 C, 67.3 C, 30.8 C, sensor data: 66.5 C, 70.0 C, 90.2 C, 29.4 C,
The third value is supposed to be the EDRAM temperature. Either it’s not calibrated properly (i hope so!), or the thermal coupling to the cooler is bad. I’ll check that tomorrow. I didn’t removed the heatsinks ever, so this must be a production fault.
I’ve now let them run in full fan mode (./smc -G 127 -C 127).
sensor data: 53.8 C, 49.1 C, 54.4 C, 27.6 C, sensor data: 58.7 C, 51.7 C, 52.0 C, 28.1 C, sensor data: 60.7 C, 49.4 C, 50.9 C, 27.4 C, sensor data: 55.8 C, 49.7 C, 49.7 C, 28.3 C, sensor data: 61.2 C, 52.2 C, 56.9 C, 28.4 C, sensor data: 58.9 C, 50.0 C, 49.6 C, 28.1 C, sensor data: 57.8 C, 51.2 C, 56.7 C, 27.8 C, sensor data: 61.1 C, 54.6 C, 57.7 C, 29.8 C, sensor data: 54.8 C, 54.1 C, 71.1 C, 27.4 C,
Still not good, but not a problem anymore.
